  Lovely refurb. Rooms great. Added on demand help yourself coffee machine downstairs in eating area an absolute bonus. Bed comfort though? Their new matresses can only say they will be great if you need an exceptionally hard mattress with no give, but in all honesty it was like sleeping on a mattress made of solid wood, a complete 360 from their previous hypno mattresses. Lift also was out of order from mid evening until the following morning, and no staff available on check out. So great as the place is, but would I stay at any Premier Inn again in the UK? Never thought Id ever say this, but after all these years they've lost me as a customer.

  Just fantastic, everything you would expect and more. Claen good value but the staff were so helpful and kind if every Premier Inn was like this 👌 a true pride in there work

  Shame the bar and restaurant next door had closed, but had a great takeaway in the room. Staff were superb.

  Absolutely pleased with my two and a half day stay.!!. Nothing was too much to ask of ALL staff. Both day and night staff were courteous, willing to address my needs,all executed with eagerness and a smile!!. The location was suburban.But of my choice. I will most certainly return here,in the near future. Thanks to all of the staff at Port Of Tyne.
